Squid Chicharrón Recipe

In Peru, chicharrón is any frying of animal origin that ends with a very crunchy texture. One of the most common chicharrones is the squid chicharrón, which we have prepared by passing it through with egg, beer and flour. The Peruvian squid chicharrón is a perfect appetizer to share with friends and accompany with a few beers. Take note of the ingredients and get ready to enjoy this delicious Peruvian recipe.

Ingredients to make Squid Chicharrón:

 5 units of Squid Rings

 100 grams of Flour

 1 unit of Egg

 150 millilitres of Beer

 1 unit of Lemon

 250 millilitres of Oil

 1 pinch of salt

 1 pinch of Pepper

How to make Squid Chicharrón:

Before making this Peruvian recipe, the first step is to get all the ingredients ready.

Beat the egg with the lager and add a pinch of salt and pepper. Including beer in the batter will make the squid crispier.

Cut the squid rings in half, season and go through the batter station, first with the egg mixture and then with the flour. Cover them completely and reserve.

Fry the squid in oil over medium heat until golden brown. It is important that the oil is very hot when you fry the squid but always regulate the temperature so that they do not burn before they are done.
